Its DAvED (Digital Audio via Electrical Distribution) technology allows the ZC4001 to receive audio through any electrical outlet. This allows the ZC4001 to playback CD, DVD and AM/FM audio through its inbuilt stereo speakers while its Aux port allows for direct playback of mp3 players. The ZC4001's DAvED technology allows up to 6 ZC4001 units to work simultaneously with a ZR6001 A/V receiver without any extra wiring or even wireless signal needed as the ZC4001's unique identifying signal allows for audio streaming through your home's existing electrical infrastructure.
