Calyx M Digital Portable Media Audio Player

Calyx M I purchased this from original owner who had 2 of these. This was his backup unit in case the first one died. His first player was still going strong and decided to part with this backup player. I purchased this and demoed the player. The Sound is amazing. Very clean and balanced. Has studio reference quality. Doesn't take away or add anything to the music. Showcases each song how it was produced in the studio. Unfortunately i rely on EQ a lot for the different genres of music and IEM's i own. I found out this DAP does not come with EQ and you cannot add it. After the demo it has been sitting in my shelf collecting dust. This is a low production music player and is hard to come by. It took me around 2 years to find one for sale. I would consider this a collectors piece of Hifi history. These units retailed for $999 when debuted. Since the unit is still new the battery is in great condition. I estimated about 4 hours of battery life per charge. Online reviews said they plug the unit into the charger to have all night listening sessions. The screen will turn off after 30 seconds of no touch input but the player amp is still on. After use you must hold power button down for 3 seconds for menu to pop up asking to shut down device. Failure to do this will result in dead battery next time you go to use it. I recommend watching a YouTube video of the UI user Interface. Its very different and to unlock the screen you have to swipe up only. Thanks!
